Privacy Policy | is-my.space

1. The Vibe Check (Introduction)

Welcome to is-my.space! We respect your privacy big time. This document basically explains what we do with your info. We're here to give you a cool subdomain, not to spy on you.

By using our service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

2. What We Collect

We keep it super minimal. We only ask for what we need to keep the lights on and the bots out:

Contact Info: Your email address. We need this to send you account details or help you if you get locked out.
Subdomain Data: Obviously, we store the name of the space you claimed (like alex.is-my.space).
Usage Data: Basic stuff like IP addresses and browser types for security logs and to stop DDoS attacks.

3. The ID Verification Stuff

This is important: To keep this service free and safe, we have to make sure you're a real person. We use a secure third-party provider for this.

We DO NOT store your ID photos or government documents on our servers.
The verification happens securely via our partner. We only get a "Pass" or "Fail" result.
Once the check is done, we don't hold onto that sensitive data. It's strictly for the "one person, one space" rule.

4. Cookies & Tracking

We use a few essential cookies to keep you logged in and maybe some lightweight analytics to see how many people are visiting the site. We aren't selling your browsing history to advertisers.

5. Your Rights

It's your data. If you want to delete your account and release your subdomain back into the wild, you can do that at any time from your dashboard. Deleting your account wipes your personal data from our active database.

6. Changes to This Policy

We might update this from time to time as we grow. If we make big changes, we'll try to email you or put a notice on the site.
